M62 terror crashes caused by rain storm

COMMUTERS caught up in 22-car pile-up on the M62 escaped with only cuts and bruises – despite the motorway being littered with smashed-up vehicles.

The terrifying crash happened on the westbound carriageway between Tarbock Island at Junction 6 and Rainhill Stoops, at Junction 7 of the M62, near to Warrington, just before 5pm yesterday.
